The oak leaf has always been Cathy’s favorite leaf and she knew early on that she wanted to make a wallpaper with this motif. The oak tree, and its beautifully shaped leaf with scalloped edges, is a common tree in Sweden. With Blanche, Cathy pays homage to her Swedish heritage by collecting inspiration from the original wallpapers in Sweden’s many old castles, creating a layered repeat and using a traditional color palette.

Hand printed in Sweden.
Each pattern is printed using engraved rolls where the pattern is cut out and the printing is done wet on wet, which gives an almost hand-painted look. Printed on non-woven material for its quality and wear resistance.
