On vacation in Sri Lanka, Cathy was inspired by a flower in the garden of the house she rented with her family in the lush, green hills above Colombo. She sketched a few simple drawings of this unusual plant that would later develop into this intricate pattern, adding character to any room.

Production & Lead Time

All of our wallpapers are designed by Cathy Nordström in our studio in Stockholm and hand-printed at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in Sweden. The wallpaper is surface printed on non-woven in accordance with an old tradition at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik, where the motifs of each color are transferred on to a roll. For our Lanka wallpaper, four engraved rolls were made. Every machine setting is still carried out by hand by experienced printers and this special technique allows the colors to bleed into each other, creating an almost hand-painted and vibrant effect.

We keep stock of all of our wallpapers and ship within 2-4 working days. Should production for any reason take longer than this we will contact you. You will receive a shipping notification once your order has dispatched. We charge flat rate shipping costs depending on the weight of your order and the region you are in. For more information please feel free to contact us. Please note that customers outside Sweden will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions, and other local requirements.

Shipping

Please note that all prices and taxes displayed DO NOT INCLUDE import duties or customs fees. You will be responsible for these fees upon delivery.

We ship to Sweden, Europe, and most international regions via UPS, DHL, and Postnord. If there is no shipping option available for your destination, please email us at sales@cathynordstrom.com.

Our fabric and wallpaper are shipped directly from our factories while our cushion covers and swatches are shipped from our Stockholm studio, therefore you may receive your order in multiple shipments.

Standard Shipping - Sweden: 2-3 business days

Standard Shipping - Europe: 3-5 business days

Standard Shipping - Rest of world: varies depending on your location 

Returns

Unused cushion covers and unopened wallpaper are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. All fabric orders are final sale, as they are cut to order.

To initiate a return, please email sales@cathynordstrom.com. We will provide a prepaid shipping label once your return has been approved. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
