things I like.

morning coffee.

I come from a tea family. We binged tea. As I grew older I ventured into coffee and nowadays I don’t function without my morning coffee. The smell of fresh coffee in the morning is one of my favorite scents.

A good meal.

I used to enjoy cooking but nowadays my husband has taken over in the kitchen. I don’t mind as I am happiest eating his food together with a good bottle of wine, enjoying a long dinner with dear friends and intense discussions.

doing nothing.

I’m a bit of a lazy one and I have no problem “doing nothing”. Unfortunately neither my husband nor my children are with me on this one. Working out is a dreadful must but I have recently rediscovered tennis after a 20 year break and it is the most fun!

There is always music playing in our house, the car or in my studio. Everything from Motown, 70s rock and French hip hop to classical music. Going to concerts is one of my absolute favorite things to do, it just makes everything better. Top concerts so far: Arcade Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Beirut and The National. Still waiting to see Florence & the Machine and Pearl Jam.

living abroad.

As a child I lived abroad for 6 years and I continued to live in different countries as an adult. I love discovering a new city and finding my local spots. Even though I’m back in Sweden raising my children I still dream of living in California and my top three favorite languages are French, Italian and Brazilian Portugese.
